Passover

Christ is risen – truly risen. Do you remember why these words are always said with such great joy? The fact that Christ overcame death gave great hope to all people.

From the moment of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Christian faith came into the world, which had a special influence on the world. We cannot remain silent about such an important event!

In ancient times, the symbol of Easter was a lamb. Therefore, many games in our program were associated with lambs: a fluffy white ball, a sheep made of natural materials, searching for little sheep in the field, and others. The children were offered to make an Easter lamb with their own hands. The symbol of the lamb created a friendly festive atmosphere. We also sang Easter songs.

In addition to them, we told the children the real history of Easter, which some children heard for the first time. They learned that Jesus was born, and He was like a fluffy, white lamb. But Jesus was crucified as the best sacrifice before God for the sins of people. Thanks to them, every person can be reconciled with God. But Jesus is risen!

At the end of the program, the children were treated to a traditional feast – matzah, grape juice and sweets.

It was an unusual but very interesting celebration. We are grateful to the parents who supported this initiative, as well as to the Christians who helped with the organization.
Thanks to the joint efforts, the celebration turned out great!
