One year has already passed. It was difficult and tiring due to quarantine and other restrictions. It also meant that Christmas would be canceled anyway.
We, the team of the Christian Values Center, could not remain at peace with it. Christmas time is a time of miracles and hope. Therefore, with great efforts, originality and God’s help, we were able to bring joy and hope to the residents of our district in Bolderāja and Daugavgrīva.
Instead of the usual event, the quest “Looking for Christmas” was implemented. The quest allowed us to ensure the rules of lockdown distancing. Each participant, whether it is a family, a child, or a teenager, could independently participate in the big game. Guests were given an individual worksheet with tasks, but the tasks were located outside, in the center of Bolderāja.
At the very end, when the participant solved all the puzzles, a surprise awaited him. He received a Christmas gift! Isn’t that a miracle? Many also asked this question, rejoicing at the organized event during quarantine. Yes, it is a miracle! But the greatest miracle is the birth of Jesus Christ. Everything happened because of Him. Jesus lived a sinless life, died for us, and rose again so that we could live with Him. Jesus Christ is now alive and He works miracles!
