  1. Terms used

Association – association “Christian Values ​​Center”
Donor – an adult natural person, legal entity or authorized representative of a person who makes a donation;
Visitor – an individual who visits the website (https://liven.lv).
Terms of Use – agreements and regulations that determine the relationship, rights, obligations and liability of the donor and the association;

  1. General provisions

2.1 Before making a donation, the donor must familiarize himself with these regulations and confirm that he has done so at the time of donation.

2.2 The association has the right to change the regulations at any time in accordance with the requirements of the law.

  1. Donor rights

3.1 To be informed about the mission, goals and purposes of the organization of the recipient of the donation, for which it is planned to use the donation, as well as about the organization’s capabilities to use these funds effectively.

3.2 Be confident that the funds will be used for the purposes for which they were donated.

3.3 Be informed about the people working in the organization and expect integrity from these people when monitoring the use of the donation.

3.4 Be confident that the donation will be treated with respect and confidentiality will be maintained to the extent permitted by law.

3.5 Expect that all relationships with persons representing the recipient organization will be completely professional and honest.

  1. Association Rights

4.1 If a visitor attempts to compromise the stability and security of the website or violates its obligations, the association has the right to immediately and without prior notice suspend or restrict the visitor’s access to the website.

  1. Association Responsibilities

5.1 The association agrees to allow the donor to use the website donation form based on these terms and conditions of the website.

5.2 The Association undertakes to respect the privacy of the visitor and the right to his/her personal information and to process the donor’s personal data only in accordance with the rules and procedures set out in Latvian legislation.

6.1 The donor can donate in the following ways:

Using a bank transfer.

By credit/debit card, using the EveryPay LinkPay service

  1. Return of funds

7.1 The Association has the right not to return the funds that were donated.

7.2 Although, in accordance with Section 1919 of the Civil Law, a gift (including a donation as a gratuitous grant of material benefits) may be revoked due to gross ingratitude on the part of the donee, it should be noted that gross insults by the donor in words or actions, intentional infliction of significant material loss on him and endangering his life, as well as leaving him in a helpless state, if it was possible to help him, are considered ingratitude on the part of the donee.

7.3 Thus, the donor may also revoke the donation, for example, in the case where the recipient of the donation disseminates deliberately false information about the donor’s possible insolvency, about the poor quality of the products produced or distributed by him, etc.)

  1. Liability

10.1 The visitor is responsible for all actions taken while using the website.

10.2 The Association is exempt from any liability if the visitor, despite the recommendations of the Association, has not read these terms and conditions, although the visitor was provided with such an opportunity.

10.3 If the Association’s website contains links to websites of other companies, organizations or individuals, the Association is not responsible for the information or actions posted there; the Association does not monitor or control these websites and does not represent these companies and individuals.

10.4 The Association is not responsible for the mutual obligations of the donor and the Association’s partners, whose services the Association uses.
