There are children in Latvia who not only find sweets a real miracle, but also lack the most basic things – winter boots and warm jackets.
Help is needed for families in crisis situations, when parents have lost their jobs and are left without income, people are sick or when health problems require sudden and large expenses. Therefore, families have to make do with the benefits of the poor. There are families that have fallen into trouble and need only a little to bounce back and overcome the crisis, but the Social Assistance Department has no legal basis to grant the GMI benefit.
Children love their parents as they are and the happiest childhood for any child is possible only in their own family.
We invite you to support poor families with children so that children do not have to suffer and parents do not have to feel guilty in front of their children.
