This summer we got to spend three great days with the kids! And the first of them was the Physics Festival.
The celebration began with a demonstration of a simple motor. Do you know what makes a motor turn? The children learned this during the celebration. During the day, they had to complete many tasks related to physics – counting, studying sounds, building various devices, discovering new laws of physics for themselves. The children were also tested on their own physical abilities when they participated in sports games, singing, and doing handicrafts.
The children learned a lot about physics and the life of a famous physicist, Michael Faraday. His faith in God played a big role in this man’s life. His achievements in science were closely related to his dedication to please God. The children were told about Michael’s basic principles of life – to keep your heart pure, to be honest before God, to trust God. The God who created the whole world also created all the laws of physics that we teach today.
The celebration ended with a delicious treat. The children were full of emotions, joy, and were looking forward to the next day.
